Exchangers are required to hold a Security Deposit in our system. This capital is used to indemnify users in the rare event of a transactional dispute.
The Exchange Process
Initiate Request
Navigate to the #exchange channel and click the Start Exchange button.
Select Exchange Type
Use the Dashboard dropdown to select your exchange type (Buy, Sell, or Additional Services).
Configure Exchange
Fill out the modal form with your sending/receiving options, target amount, and additional notes.
Final Review
Carefully verify your request details. Click Confirm Exchange to initiate the ticket.
Enter Ticket
A private ticket is created instantly. Click the #ticket-channel to begin chatting with a verified exchanger.
Exchanger Claim
Inside the ticket, you will see the Global Oracle Rate established by the platform. This ensures pricing transparency and protects both parties from market volatility during the exchange process.
Once claimed, a control panel appears with buttons to Mark as Paid, Verify & Release, and Check Payment status.
Security Enforced: All exchangers hold a mandatory security deposit to protect your funds.
Safety & Control
You have full control over your deal. Use the Contact Mod button for immediate assistance, Freeze Ticket to pause interactions, or Cancel Deal if you no longer wish to proceed.
Note: For security, tickets automatically close if not claimed by an exchanger within 12 hours.
Privacy Encryption
Exchange metadata is strictly siloed between you and the verified counterparty. Administrative access is logged and limited to authorized dispute resolution personnel.
Efficiency Tip
For the fastest rates, have your transaction screenshots and wallet addresses ready before opening a ticket.
Safety Advisory
Never pay an exchanger outside of the ticket channel. All valid dealings must be logged within the EggTrust infrastructure.
